It has always been important for Amanda to give back. As a church youth director in college, Amanda led groups of teenagers in mission trips across the state and country. After her diagnosis of cancer in 2002, Amanda has focused her efforts in this area. She will be working with the Melanoma Research Foundation this spring to publicize National Melanoma Month and will be working with the local chapter of the American Cancer Society this year on various projects. Stay tuned for future announcements of events in Texas and beyond. Dear Friends,
The strongest women I know are those who have faced - and overcome -challenges in their lives. The following is a collection of quotes from women I know who are either successfully battling cancer or have already won the fight. Perhaps these thoughts will provide you with the same motivation and encouragement in facing your own life's battles as they do for me. Amanda
